For Spring Summer 2027, Bikkembergs revisits its identity by looking both backward and forward.
The collection starts from two seemingly distant references: an iconic image of Robert Redford in a polo shirt and the migratory journey of birds traveling from Europe to Asia. Together, these influences shape a collection built around movement, transition and transformation.
At its core, Bikkembergs remains deeply connected to its sportswear heritage. The brand’s long standing relationship with football continues to define its visual language, visible in structured polos, sharp outerwear and leather pieces that feel rooted in the label’s DNA.
But this season introduces a noticeable shift.
Tailoring feels softer and more fluid than in previous collections. Traditional silhouettes open up to new proportions, while Asian influences subtly reshape construction. Kimono inspired cuts bring a different rhythm to jackets and suiting, adding lightness and a sense of ease to the collection.
Archival references also play an important role. Prints dating back to 1986 return in updated forms, reconnecting the present with the brand’s past without feeling nostalgic.
What stands out most is the balance.
Bikkembergs is not abandoning its identity. Instead, it is expanding it. The masculine energy that has always defined the brand is still there, but now it feels more nuanced, more flexible and more contemporary.
This collection shows a brand in transition, one that understands heritage is not something static but something that evolves.
WOOM’s Take
Bikkembergs feels more interesting when it embraces tension: sport and tailoring, structure and softness, past and future. SS27 captures that balance well, showing a brand that respects its roots while allowing itself to move somewhere new.
